In case you forgot, next week Leaders of the New Cool, Fadia Kader and URB Magazine join forces to present South By South Next at Light Bar in Austin, TX during SXSW. We’ll have two stages - 1 indoors, 1 outdoors (on the roof) - Don Cannon will be spinning, Peter Rosenberg will be hosting and we’ll have over 30 artists that are NEXT…which now includes J. Cole. In preparation for our upcoming Noisemakers at SXSW, Bun B and Rosenberg sat down at Hot 97 Studios to discuss some of the differences between Bun B and Pimp C and to compare British Comedy to UGK. Peter Rosenberg’s Noisemakers goes down March 18th at Ace’s, 222 East 6th St., Austin, TX at 7pm.
Immediately after South By South Next, we’re moving the party to Ace’s for a special edition of Peter Rosenberg’s Noisemakers featuring Bun B. Following Noisemakers, Reflection Eternal, Jean Grae, Strong Arm Steady, 88 Keys (who’s also rocking at South By South Next), Gangrene (Alchemist + Oh No), Rakaa, Kev Brown, Oddisee, Diamond District and Homeboy Sandman will touch the stage. Rosenberg’s hosting all night long.
Leaders of the New Cool is teaming up with Atlanta promoter Fadia Kader and URB Magazine to produce South By South Next at the South By South West music festival on Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Austin, Texas at Light Bar.
