Recorded about a year ago, Tiara originally titled this song “F.U.” Concerned that some people may be put off by the explicit nature of the song, we decided to leave it off of Tiara’s debut mixtape “This Is Tiara”. But on the eve of Tiara’s first performance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, her hometown, we decided to release this one from the vaults. Produced by Mancini, who handled the lion share of the production on “This Is Tiara”, “Doin’ Me” is an unrelenting, in your face song about independence and doing what you feel like.
